Sunergy (Silphium perfoliatum) is a low input , high output perennial crop, which can be grown with no fertilizer and once established is resistant to any major pests and diseases. It has a lifespan of up to 15 years.

ReCon Resources Ltd have taken on the role of Sunergy agents in Northern Ireland and Scotland.

ReCon held a launch event on Tuesday 8th November with various speakers including Nick Green from Newtone Agriscapes, the sole UK distributor, William Robinson from B9 Energy Solutions and Mark Rooney from Queens University Belfast.
